At Rascal + Friends, we are committed to using quality materials and our nappies are made with ECF (Elemental Chlorine Free) pulp. ECF pulp is completely safe for use in nappies and on sensitive skin. To be a suitable nappy material, ECF pulp undergoes a very safe bleaching process with chlorine dioxide, please note chlorine is not ‘added’ to the nappy at any stage. Chlorine Dioxide is a compound that is completely different to chlorine and is quickly converted to harmless salts and water.

The crystals and gel found in your baby’s nappy are super absorbent polymers (SAPs). SAPs are safe and non-toxic materials used to absorb urine and feces in nappies.
When SAPs absorb liquid, they swell and form gel beads. These beads help keep the nappy dry and comfortable for your baby, while also preventing the growth of bacteria that can cause diaper rash.

The weight range of our nappies and nappy pants are a guide only, and often moving to the next size up will stop leakage issues. Other factors that can cause leaks can include the many movements your baby makes everyday, the nature of your baby’s bowel and bladder habits and the way in which the nappy is fits your little one.

The blue tab on the back of our nappy pants is a handy resealable tab for when you dispose of the nappy. Simply remove the nappy, roll it up, unstick the blue tab and wrap it around the nappy to seal. It makes for quick and easy changes on-the-go!
The Rascal + Friends logo indicates the front side of our nappies and nappy pants. It should sit face-up when you’re changing.
Our nappy pants have easy-tear sides so you can simply pull apart the side seam, remove, roll and reseal the nappy pant before disposal.
